Celebrate Pollinator Week with Our 2026 Children’s Art Contest
National Pollinator Week 2026 is just around the corner, and Eastside Exterminators is excited to bring back our Children’s Art Contest for the third year in a row! After seeing so much incredible creativity and talent last summer, we’re thrilled to once again celebrate the pollinators that help our world bloom alongside Washington’s young artists.
This contest encourages children to celebrate and learn about pollinators—from bees and butterflies to birds and bats—while recognizing how they support the plants, gardens, and food we rely on every day.
We’re proud to invite kids and teens from across Washington State to create and share original artwork that celebrates these essential creatures and the impact they have on our world.
How to Enter
The contest runs from June 5 to June 27, 2026, in celebration of National Pollinator Week. It’s open to Washington State residents ages 18 and under, and we’ve made entering simple and easy.
To officially enter the contest:
- Upload your artwork using the official entry form
- Make sure all requested information is complete before submitting
Optional: Share on social media
Participants are welcome to share their artwork to showcase their creativity!
If you choose to post:
- Tag us @eastsideexterminators on Instagram or Facebook
Please note: Posting on social media alone does not count as an official entry. Be sure to use the online entry form to submit your artwork.
Age Groups & Prizes
Entries will be judged in the following age categories:

Group 1: Ages 5 and under – $50 prize

Group 2: Ages 6–9 – $75 prize

Group 3: Ages 10–14 – $100 prize
-
Group 4: Ages 15–18 – $125 prize
Winners will be chosen based on creativity and originality in how their artwork celebrates and represents pollinators.

Pollinators play a vital role in keeping our ecosystems healthy and our food systems thriving. Animals like bees, butterflies, birds, and bats help plants reproduce by spreading pollen, which leads to the growth of fruits, vegetables, and seeds. Full Contest Rules and Conditions
CONTEST ENTRY DATES:
The contest begins on Friday, June 5th, 2026, and ends on Saturday, June 27th, 2026. Entries must be submitted during this period.
WHO MAY ENTER:
The contest is open to Washington State residents ages 18 and under. Entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian (18+) on behalf of the participant. Contestants must comply with all online notices, including the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Proof of residency may be requested.
CONTEST OBJECTIVE:
Create and submit artwork celebrating pollinators.
CONTEST ENTRY:
To enter, follow the instructions outlined below:
- Submit your entry through our official online entry form (required)
- Sharing on social media and tagging @eastsideexterminators is optional
Entries must include the contestant’s name, preferred method of contact, and age bracket. All entries must be received by the contest end date. Automated computer receipts do not constitute proof of receipt.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Entries must be original works, unpublished, and must not infringe on any rights of any person or entity. Entries submitted only via social media will not be considered. The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason at its sole discretion.
ODDS OF WINNING:
The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
JUDGING:
All entries will be reviewed by an internal panel of Eastside Exterminators team members. Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, and artistic expression. In the event of a tie, the panel will determine the winner at its discretion. All decisions are final.
WINNER NOTIFICATION:
Winners will be contacted after the contest ends and must provide a mailing or email address to receive their prize. The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify winners who fail to comply with the contest rules or provide necessary information.
PRIZE & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV):
Prizes include:
- Under 5: $50 (Visa gift card)
- Ages 5-9: $75 (Visa gift card)
- Ages 10-14: $100 (Visa gift card)
- Ages 15-18: $125 (Visa gift card)
Winners are responsible for any taxes or additional costs associated with their prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Participation grants Eastside Exterminators the right to use contestants’ names, likenesses, and entries for promotional purposes without additional compensation. The sponsor is not responsible for lost or misdirected entries or technical issues that may affect participation.
All submissions must be made by an individual over 18 years old, and prizes must be claimed by individuals over 18.
ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS:
By entering, contestants agree that their submissions may be similar to others and waive any claims against the sponsor.
MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS:
The sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest for any reason. Disqualification may occur for any individual tampering with the entry process or violating contest rules.
RELEASES:
By entering, contestants agree to the use of their information for marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy for details.
ARBITRATION & CHOICE OF LAW:
All disputes will be resolved individually through binding arbitration in Washington State. Contest rules are governed by the laws of Washington State.
WINNERS LIST:
Winners will be contacted by email or phone and announced on our social media platforms by July 1st.
